Dating Goes Cellular

by Anthony Wayne
First there was dating by telephone. You remember the system. You still see newspaper dating services in many daily newspapers like the New York Times personals and others. Most are 900 number based services and also use credit card processing via IVR--Interactive Voice Response services.
Then, came online dating services. Internet dating services have grown tremendously and are now a $550 million industry. There's no shortage of potential dates when you go online. Whenever I check them out, I see hundreds of available dates in my area that I'd welcome the chance to go out with.
Now, there's cell phone dating. Surely, the dating method of choice by most young adults, dating by cell phone just makes a lot of sense for today's mobile society, especially among the 18 to 28 year old crowd.
MatchLinkMobile is offering free text messages to be sent to prospective dates. Just send the keyword LINKUP to 53733 (5FREE).
