Top 2005 Ringtone Honor Goes to 50 Cent

"Candy Shop" by 50 Cent was the largest selling polyphonic ringtone in the US in 2005.

According to Nielsen Mobile figures 1,891,000 units of the hit ringtone "Candy Shop" was sold in US during 2005.

50 Cent beat out Lil Jon and East Side Boyz by more then 500,000 units. Their "Lovers and Friends" registered 1,339,000 ringtone sales.

Number three download went to the Super Mario Brothers game theme ringtone with roughly 1,095,000 units sold.




The US Top 10 Polyphonic Ringtones were:

8. Movie Theme - Halloween (892,000)
9. Kayne West -Gold Digger (843,000)
